Jessica (Jess) Knight worked hard to get to where she is today: an account executive at the leading strategic communications agency in New Hampshire. Jess earned her Master of Science degree in public relations from Boston University. While at BU, she worked at the nation's oldest-running, student-led PR agency, PRLab, in the spring of 2019. Jess spent her summer as a public relations coordinator for Franco, Detroit's largest independently owned full-service communications agency.
Before BU, Jess worked as a multimedia journalist for the CBS affiliate, KMVT News, in Twin Falls, Idaho. She also helped solve pizza problems as a customer support representative at Domino’s Pizza LLC’s corporate headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Jess graduated from the University of Michigan with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in communication studies and Spanish. At U of M, she worked for the Big Ten Network Student U production team as a sideline reporter and production assistant.
Jess served on the executive board of WOLV TV, Michigan’s student-run television station, as the entertainment director. She oversaw three shows in the entertainment department, as well as co-produced and co-hosted “The Entertainment Buzz,” a show highlighting campus events. In 2015, Jess interviewed the director of The Big Bang Theory, Mark Cendrowski. During her time at WOLV, Jess received the award of Best On-Air Director, and “The Entertainment Buzz” earned Most Improved Show.
